Snohomish Knitters Guild

It is with joyous celebration and wonderful memories that we announce the migration of Snohomish Knitters Guild to Valley Spinners Guild!

After determining that we did not have a full Board to run for office, and considering several other factors that led us to feel it was in our best interest, the members present at last night's meeting made the motion and voted unanimously in favor to elect an experienced group of past Board Members with the sole purpose of legally disbanding the guild by the end of 2024.

SKG will no longer hold monthly meetings or collect dues, and past members will be encouraged to join and attend Valley Spinners Guild on the 3rd Tuesdays at Zion Lutheran Church gymnasium in Snohomish. They are a very welcoming group and have programs for spinning, weaving, knitting, crochet, felting, basketry and more.

We will wrap up SKG business by holding our annual Fall Retreat as planned, paying all outstanding bills, and closing all accounts by the end of the year. We will keep our current members posted while we undergo this process.

SKG Members shared some delightful stories, gave away door prizes, celebrated with cake and even sang the Yarn Train song!

We've been so fortunate to have this experience with all of you, and can't wait to combine our efforts and eager enjoyment of fiber arts with Valley Spinners.
